Comprehensive Fire Safety, Backed by Experience

Originally named Fireshield Services, the company was formed in 2015 by David, having spent a successful career in the fire and rescue service.

In 2025, Mark and Roy formally came on board, and it was a natural step at that point to evolve the company and build on its success by rebranding to Fireshield Scotland.

David, Mark, and Roy each served in the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service before taking on other roles in the fire industry. Together, they have accumulated over 100 years of experience in dealing with a variety of real-life situations. This extensive background and practical experience in the fire sector enables them to apply their knowledge to find effective and cost-efficient fire safety solutions for their clients.

What our clients have to say

David Stapley

GIFireE MIFSM

As an operational firefighter the early years of my career were pivotal in understanding building construction, fire development and the tactics of fire service intervention.

Attending a significant number of fire emergencies highlighted the negative impact which it had, primarily on people lives, but also the many businesses who suffered loss and the wider impact it has on the communities across Scotland.

During a successful Fire Service career spanning over 30 years I was

Privileged to become the first Local Senior Officer within the Scottish Fire Service for Perth, Kinross, Dundee & Angus.

In 2015 I established Fireshield Services to support and guide business towards compliance with fire safety legislation.
